New goods for Summer!
We are excited to launch our summer line this week. Thank you all for your patience again as we got this fresh batch of outdoor and Kootenay-inspired gear ready for you. Once again COVID (yes, still) played a part in some stock delays, but we got it done.
And for something completely new that we are really pumped about - the majority of our new apparel will come with a snazzy branded hem tag! We love the finished look it gives a piece of clothing. It might not seem like much, but hem tags can be an added expense and add to production time so it was something we were working towards. We hope you like the look!
Let's take a look at what's new in the shop.
T-shirts
We have 3 new unisex T's ready to go. Our classic East West Kootenay design is back in black, because you can't go wrong with simple typography and a basic black crewneck.
A new nature-focused addition to the Kootz Collection, the Forest T. This hand-illustrated woodblock design is printed on a super soft military green crewneck.
Also, if you're really into like, trees and stuff (like us!), we also have Hug a Tree stickers and Tree Crews available.
Some of our fondest memories are centered around time at the cabin and we bet yours are too! The new Cabin Sweet Cabin T is printed on a plum crewneck with a light pink imprint.
Ladies Tank
Don't worry, be happy. Our Peace, Love and the Kootz design is now on a tank top for summer. Aqua imprint on a soft and flowy black tank. And yes, we do have a sticker to match!
Ladies Hoodie
We brought back the East West Kootenay wave wash hoodie in sage. It has sold out consistently both times we've printed it, so, third time's a charm. The wave wash hoodies have a beautiful curved raw hem at the bottom, a hoodie and drawstring, plus an open neck detail. And yes, they are as cosy as they look.

We still have a few items from our spring stock available and sale items. Plus, we launched new classic Kootz snapbacks last month in 4 colours: Brown Tweed, Khaki, Seafoam and Royal Tropical. Our hats are unisex, fully adjustable, and will fit kids approximately ages 8+.
We launched our beach towels in the Spring and were hoping stock would last into the summer, but we only have 5 Kootenay Babe ones left! Grab one while you can --- we will not be restocking beach towels again till spring/summer next year.

Giving back
Last year we teamed up with Friends of Kootenay Lake Stewardship Society (FOKLSS). A percentage of every sale at Kootz Collective will be donated to support the preservation of Kootenay Lake and its surrounding ecosystem.
